I just received the Duo Ultimate and have been testing it with various systems. It works great with Mame and Altirra, but for some reason Stella (v7, windows) does not pick up the paddles other than the fire buttons. I tried with the default profile (0, atari joystick+paddles) and i tried creating a new profile and trying different settings and in all cases only the paddle fire buttons get picked up, not the paddle x/y axes. I have a Duo Plus that works fine with Stella.

Any suggestions?

I have an issue with the iCode trackball that I bought recently (at least I think I do). The issue is that the movement is not smooth when moving the trackball, it is very jerky and this happens in game and when moving the mouse cursor in Windows 11. I have no issue with the Spinner which is very smooth. I have tried ajusting the sensitivity and acceleration but nothing makes a difference. I have tried different USB ports and a different cable, can I ask is this expected behaviour or could I have a faulty unit?

Hello All - Finding good spinner-responsiveness settings for Tempest with the iCode Spinner Ultimate is an ongoing journey for me when using different computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Apple M-series computers) and emulators (e.g., MAME, RetroPie). The iCode Hub will definitely help with the process of testing/saving various spinner configurations and settings. If others have tips and guidance for systematically determining good Spinner Ultimate settings for Tempest or other spinner-controller games, here is some information to kick-off this topic from what I have.

Computer: Raspberry Pi 500 (8 GB) with Raspberry Pi OS (Trixie)
ROM: Tempest (rev 1)
MAME version 0.276 with Tempest in-game settings of Dial Speed: 15, Dial Sensitivity: 2

Some basic Spinner settings are -
Output Mode: Mouse + GamePad
Gamepad Function: None
Sensitivity: Very High
Acceleration: 1

NOTES:
* Initially used "Gamepad as: Left", but ended up needing to set it to "None"
* For Tempest in-game Input Settings of the spinner controller (Coin 1, 1 Player Start, P1 Button 1, P1 Button 2, Dial Analog Inc, Dial Analog Dec), it helped to initially have Acceleration set to "9" so that the spinner was detected for setting Dial Increase (clockwise) and Dial Decrease (counter clockwise). After the spinner directions were detected, for Tempest gameplay it was better to have the Acceleration set to 1 (for small screens) or 2 (for larger screens).

Hello. I was wondering if there is a way to use the hand held controllers like the track ball or spinner controllers offered by iCode with a device that only takes bluetooth. Namely, the Apple Vision Pro. Apple recently came out with an arcade package that includes retro games called Retrocade. It looks really cool on the Vision Pro. However, you need to use a typical hand held controller like the PS5 controller. This makes games like Centipede and Breakout difficult to play w/o a spinner or trackball. I was wondering if a device that could make the controller send a bluetooth signal might work but those devices are limited. I could only find a device being sold in Japan (USB2BTPlus) that can make a USB HID device send out a bluetooth signal. But I'm not sure this would even work. The Vision Pro can only receive bluetooth and has no ports. Any ideas? Thanks!
