Hello.  Does anyone know how to get the iCode Duo Ultimate to work in Stella in Retroarch?  It works for me with Stella as a standalone emulator, but not within Retroarch.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi.  With OS are you running?  Stick or Paddles?  Here is the basic steps for Retroarch on Windows:

1. For paddles, use Stella 2014 core and nor Stella.  Stella 2014 will work with 4 player paddles and regular Stella Core has a bug so only 1 player paddles currently.
2. Use duo ultimate default settings (Stick+Paddles, Left Analog).    Mouse on standby or off since you are doing Atari paddles for Atari games.
3. make sure you check the Main menu settings, input, Retropad binds, Port1 and Port 2 controls areas.  Analog to digital should be OFF,  Device index port 1 PS3 Controller (1),  for port 2 - ps3 Controller (2).
4. map B button to red button on duo (button 0), A button to green (button 1), Select to White (button 9), Start to Black (button 8).
5. double check to make sure Left Analog Y-(up_) is set to Axis -1,  Y+ is Axis +1, Left Analog X- is -0, Right X+ is +0.  these are same as your stick directions and you can can use stick to map it if they were not defaulted.
6. start the game like breakout and press F1 for retro arch menu
7. select Controls, Port 1 controls, change Device type to Paddles (Stelladaptor), change B button to P1 Fire, A button to P2 Fire
8. select Port 2 controls, change device type to Paddles, B button to P3 Fire, A button to P4 Fire
9. go to manage Remap Files, and Save Core Remap File so you dont have to set this up every time.

Hope this helps.
